VSP's eyecare plans are designed to meet your organization's needs and provide personalized care to your employees and members.

VSP's Eye Health Management Program®
Unlike anywhere else on your body, your eyes provide a clear view to your blood vessels. This helps VSP doctors detect systems of serious eye and related health conditions. Seeing a VSP doctor on a regular basis is important because an eye exam offers an opportunity to detect problems in their early stages, long before complications can arise.

VSP's unique Eye Health Management Program focuses on the treatment and management of both eye and related health conditions through our private practice network of doctors. This program can complement your disease management or wellness program through three main channels: member awareness materials, exceptional care and partnership and data.

Member Awareness Materials
Through our Windows to Wellness® campaign, clients receive educational materials for members that emphasize the connection between regular eyecare and good overall health. Additionally, members can receive materials directly from VSP or their VSP doctor.

Exceptional Care
We believe that VSP's private practice eyecare doctors deliver the highest quality, most personalized care in the industry. With an average of 18 years in private practice, they develop lifetime relationships with patients and their families. This optimizes care by providing doctors with the ability to monitor even subtle changes in patients' eyes and ensure appropriate treatment.

Partnership and Data
One example of VSP's support of our clients' disease management and wellness initiatives is our exam reminder for all identified diabetic members. Regular eyecare, especially for diabetics, is critical when you consider that 90 percent of all diabetes-related blindness could be prevented with a regular eye exam.1
