NCQA Credentialing Certificate
VSP is built on a commitment to eyecare wellness, and credentialing is one of the ways VSP ensures doctors provide quality eyecare to their patients. In fact, VSP has been awarded a Credentialing Certificate by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), an independent, non-profit organization that assesses and reports on the quality of America's health care.
As part of VSP's credentialing process, doctors who participate in the VSP network must supply evidence of high standards in the areas of certification, facilities, equipment and professional ethics. Optometrists participating in the VSP network are Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent (TPA) certified and ophthalmologists are American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO) certified.
